Early morning meeting in Milan (time and place to be agreed). Departure by private coach to Loreto. Upon arrival, free visit (without guide) of the famous Santuario della Santa Casa, where the Holy House of the Virgin Mary is preserved. Celebration of the Eucharist.
Lunch at a restaurant.
In the afternoon, departure for Assisi. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
2ASSISI / CASCIA / ASSISI
Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner
Breakfast. Meeting with the guide and full day dedicated to the guided visit of Basilica di San Francesco d’Assisi, divided into the Upper and Lower Basilicas, among the most renowned in the world, housing magnificent frescoes by Giotto and other great artists, narrating the life of Saint Francis. Visit also the Convent of Saint Clare, Piazza del Comune with the ancient Temple of Minerva (now a church), and the Basilica of Saint Clare.
Lunch at the hotel.
Departure for Cascia. Driving through the scenic Val Nerina valley, arrival in Cascia for the visit of the charming fortified town and the Sanctuary dedicated to the much-venerated Saint Rita of Cascia.
Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
3ASSISI / MILANO
Meals included: breakfast and lunch
Breakfast. Celebration of the Eucharist at the Porziuncola, located within the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels. Continuation of the visits of Assisi and visit to the church where Blessed Carlo Acutis is buried. Free time and, for those who wish, walking visit to San Damiano (taxis included).
Lunch at the hotel.
In the afternoon, departure for Milan with arrival expected in the evening.
