  1. 1MILAN / ROME

    Meals included: dinner

    In the morning, meet the participants at Milan railway station and depart by train to Rome. Upon arrival, transfer by public transportation to the hotel for check-in and lunch.

    In the afternoon, enjoy free time for an initial independent exploration of the city, beginning in the area of Imperial Rome (external visits): the Colosseum, the undisputed symbol of Rome and ancient civilization; the Arch of Titus; and the Imperial Forums, commissioned by different emperors to celebrate the greatness of Rome and to serve as centers of political, religious, and commercial life.

    Continue to Piazza Venezia, dominated by the 15th-century Palazzo Venezia, the Monument to Victor Emmanuel II known as the “Altar of the Fatherland,” and the Capitoline Hill.

    Return to the hotel by public transportation. Dinner and overnight stay.

  2. 2ROME

    Meals included: breakfast, dinner

    Breakfast at the hotel and lunch at leisure during the visits.

    The morning is dedicated to the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, rich in priceless artistic treasures, beautifully situated on the Esquiline Hill, including a stop to visit the Tomb of Pope Francis.

    The visit continues with the Basilica of Saint John Lateran, the true cathedral of Rome, located on the Caelian Hill and regarded as the mother church of all churches in the city.

    In the afternoon, free time for a leisurely walk through Baroque Rome (external visits), from the Quirinal Palace to the Trevi Fountain, then on to the Pantheon, and concluding in the elegant setting of Piazza Navona.

    Return to the hotel by public transportation. Dinner and overnight stay.

  3. 3ROMA / MILANO

    Meals included: breakfast

    Breakfast at the hotel.

    In the morning, transfer by public transportation to the area of St. Peter’s Basilica, regarded as the heart of Christianity and not only a place of profound spiritual significance, but also an extraordinary masterpiece of architecture and art. Free time for individual visits or to attend Holy Mass and the Angelus (for programs including the Angelus only) or the Papal Audience (for programs including the Audience only) with Pope Leo XIV (subject to his presence in Rome).

    Lunch at leisure.

    In the afternoon, free time at disposal until transfer by public transportation to the railway station for the return journey to Milan.
