Experience the spiritual heart of Central and Southern Italy on a journey through the sacred sites of Rome, the Marian shrines of Loreto and Lanciano, the pilgrimage sanctuaries of San Giovanni Rotondo, and the medieval charm of Assisi, enriched by devotion, history, and centuries-old religious traditions.
- Begin at Milan airport and depart together for Rome. Upon arrival in the Eternal City, transfer to the hotel for accommodation, dinner, and overnight stay.
- Discover Rome with a full-day guided visit, including St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums with the Sistine Chapel. In the afternoon, continue to the major Basilicas of St. Mary Major and St. John Lateran, and visit the Holy Stairs, before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
- Travel south through the Italian countryside toward San Giovanni Rotondo, stopping at Montecassino to visit the historic Abbey founded by St. Benedict in 529. After time to explore the monastery, continue to San Giovanni Rotondo for dinner and overnight stay.
- Explore the places connected to Saint Pio of Pietrelcina in San Giovanni Rotondo. Later, journey to Monte Sant’Angelo to visit the ancient Grotto of St. Michael the Archangel, a revered pilgrimage site for centuries, before returning to San Giovanni Rotondo for dinner and overnight stay.
- Depart for Lanciano to visit the Sanctuary of the Eucharistic Miracle, an important center of Eucharistic devotion. Continue to Loreto for accommodation, dinner, and overnight stay.
- Visit the Sanctuary of the Holy House in Loreto, one of the most significant Marian shrines in Europe. Continue toward Assisi, stopping in Cascia to visit the Basilica of St. Rita, where the relics of the Saint are preserved, before arriving in Assisi for dinner and overnight stay.
- Explore Assisi with a guided panoramic tour, including the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli with the “Portiuncula,” the Basilica of St. Clare, and the Basilica of St. Francis with the Tomb of the Saint. Enjoy free time in the afternoon before dinner and overnight stay.
- Conclude the journey with a transfer by coach to Rome and transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule for your return to Milan, marking the end of the pilgrimage and the services provided.
