  1. 1MILANO LINATE / BARI

    Meals included: lunch, dinner

    Meeting of participants at Milan Linate Airport. Meeting with our representative and departure for Bari. Meeting with the guide and departure for a guided tour of the Cathedral of Bitonto, built between the 12th and 13th centuries, and its medieval historic center. Return to Bari and lunch at the hotel.

    In the afternoon, guided tour of Bari: the Old Town, of Byzantine origin, where the main medieval monuments are located; the Cathedral of San Sabino, built in the first half of the 11th century, one of the most majestic examples of Apulian Romanesque architecture; and the Basilica of San Nicola, erected between 1087 and 1197 to house the relics of the Saint.

    Return to the hotel and check-in to the reserved rooms at the 4-star hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

  2. 2BARI / MATERA / BARI

    Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner

    Breakfast. Departure for Matera and full day dedicated to the visit of the City of the Sassi – UNESCO World Heritage Site and European Capital of Culture 2019. Matera is one of the oldest cities in the world, where the area preserves evidence of human settlements dating back to the Paleolithic era. Lunch at a restaurant. Return to the hotel in Bari. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

  3. 3BARI / OSTUNI / LECCE

    Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

    Breakfast. Meeting with the guide and departure for Ostuni, set on three hills at the edge of the Murge: visit of the picturesque medieval village with its rustic whitewashed houses. Visit of the Cathedral, built toward the end of the 15th century.

    Departure for Alberobello, in the Itria Valley, to admire its artistic and natural heritage, an area characterized by dry-stone walls and the trulli built during the rural civilization period outside the urban center. Lunch at a restaurant.

    In the afternoon, visit of Alberobello, the town of the “Trulli,” a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and continuation to Lecce. Check-in to the reserved rooms at the 4-star hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

     

  4. 4LECCE

    Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

    Breakfast. Meeting with the guide and full day dedicated to the visit of Lecce, the Baroque city par excellence: the historic center, rich in architectural and monumental beauty, leads through its narrow streets lined with fascinating palaces and landmarks such as Sant’Oronzo, Santa Croce, the Roman Amphitheatre, and the Roman Theatre.

    Lunch at a restaurant. At the end of the visits, return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

  5. 5LECCE / GALATINA E GALLIPOLI / LECCE

    Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

    Breakfast. Full-day excursion for a guided tour of Galatina and Gallipoli. Galatina, an important town on the Salento peninsula, is rich in churches, including the splendid and unique Basilica of Santa Caterina d’Alessandria, a national monument since 1870. Gallipoli, whose name derives from the Greek Kalé Polis meaning “beautiful city,” was named by Greek colonizers who came from Greece; its meaning is indeed “beautiful city.”

    Lunch at a restaurant during the visits. Return to the hotel in Lecce. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

  6. 6LECCE / OTRANTO / BRINDISI / MILANO LINATE

    Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

    Breakfast. Departure for Otranto, known as the “Gateway to the East” due to its location at the easternmost point of Italy. Guided visit of the Cathedral, whose incomparable floor mosaic was created by a monk, and the Aragonese Castle, with its towers, bastions, and walls.

    Lunch at a restaurant. Transfer to Brindisi Airport in due time and, after completing boarding formalities, departure for Milan Linate.
