  1. 1MILANO / ROME

    Meals included: dinner

    In the morning, gathering of the participants at Milan railway station and departure by train to Rome. Upon arrival, transfer by public transportation to the hotel for check-in, followed by free lunch.

    In the afternoon, guided walking tour through the historic heart of the city, including Piazza Venezia, the Altare della Patria (Victor Emmanuel II Monument), the Church of Santa Maria in Aracoeli, the Theatre of Marcellus, the Portico of Octavia, the Jewish Ghetto, Palazzo Mattei, Largo di Torre Argentina (overlooking the site of Julius Caesar’s assassination), and Campo de’ Fiori.

    Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfers by public transportation.
    The morning will be dedicated to a guided tour of the Vatican Museums, from the Raphael Rooms to the Sistine Chapel, where you will admire Michelangelo’s magnificent frescoes. Free lunch.

    In the afternoon, guided visit of St. Peter’s Basilica, the universal symbol of Christianity, built over the burial site of the Apostle Peter. Inside, among its impressive naves, you will admire Bernini’s famous bronze Baldachin and Michelangelo’s extraordinary Pietà.

    Dinner and overnight stay.

  3. 3ROME

    Meals included: breakfast and dinner

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfers by public transportation.

    In the morning, guided tour in the area stretching from Piazza del Quirinale to the Trevi Fountain, followed by an interior visit to the Doria Pamphilj Gallery, which houses an exceptional private art collection including masterpieces by Bernini, Velázquez, Titian, Raphael, Caravaggio, and many other renowned artists.

    Free lunch.

    In the afternoon, guided visit to Piazza Navona with Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers, the Pantheon, and Piazza di Spagna with the magnificent Spanish Steps (Trinità dei Monti). The tour continues with visits to selected churches known for their artistic heritage: Santa Maria in Vallicella, the Church of Sant’Agostino (featuring works by Raphael, Sansovino, and Caravaggio’s “Madonna of the Pilgrims”), and San Luigi dei Francesi, home to Caravaggio’s celebrated cycle of paintings.

  4. 4ROME / MILAN

    Meals included: breakfast 

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfers by public transportation.

    In the morning, guided visit to the Museum of the Imperial Fora, a remarkable archaeological complex where it is possible to walk through ancient squares, streets, and shops, gaining insight into everyday life in Imperial Rome. The tour continues with an external view of the Colosseum, followed by an underground visit to the Basilica of San Clemente.

    Free lunch.

    Transfer to the railway station for the return train journey to Milan.
